Welcome to Personal Time Capsule, A Trustee is a person or persons that you trust and choose to manage your digital legacy once you have passed. The main role of your Trustee is two fold. First, is to convey and honor your final wishes that you established when you created your end-of-life preferences such as if you would like to be buried or cremated. Second, is to manage your digital legacy and your messages.
To designate your trustee or trustees simple go to the setting tab and scroll down to where you see “Digital Legacy Trustees”. Enter their full name, email address and select their relationship to you and hit the “Add Trustee” button. An email similar to this will then go out to your Trustee. We recommend making a call and briefly explaining to your friend or family member what Personal Time Capsule is so they have an idea of what you are asking of them.
As you can see below that it will display if they are pending or if they are active. If they are active that means they received the email and created their login to the Trustee dashboard.
Rest assured your Trustees can not change or delete any of your future messages. You can also delete any trustee at any time by clicking the “remove” button next to their name. That wraps it up for Trustees.
